Hello

We have 16 different types of organic fruit on just 30 acres run by orchardist Jim Reed. So it’s a bit like micro-brewing. Micro-growing? Actually, a better analogy is that we grow our fruit the way vineyards grow their grapes -with lots of attention to all the details that make a difference to the flavor. There’s more about those in the Growing Details section.

We have also release a small batch of wine each fall, Bee’s Reprieve -a Marechal Foch made from our single acre of organic wine grapes.  We’ve been experimenting on our own with different yeasts and styles for more than a decade so we’re interested to hear what you think. It’s a bit of a twist, but we grow our wine grapes the way we grow our fruit -waiting for peak brix (sugar levels) before we harvest and crush.
